Also, you can’t assign certain traffic to be a high priority. If this is a concern to you, you can check the Asus Tri-band router instead. It is very customizable.
Finally, if you own a garage door opener like me, you know the importance of ensuring that the hub connects to the 2.4 GHz band. I couldn’t set up an independent Wi-Fi network for devices that function only on the 2.4 GHz band. This was a huge drawback for me.

However, it is worth noting that the connection speeds varied greatly between the Eeros.
For instance, I could only get 250 Mbps of connection speed on the second floor compared to 900 Mbps at the main hub.
Nonetheless, the Eero 6+ supports up to one-gigabit speed.
The Eero 6+ also provides enough bandwidth for the whole family to work or stream simultaneously. This is made possible with the introduction of an additional 160 MHz radio channel.
